With the development of oil and gas exploration and development technology isdeepening, the exploration and development of oil field accuracy requirements moreand more high. For the identification of effective reservoir is efficient, deepen theunderstanding of underground medium and collected seismic record is very necessary,this is a difficult period of geophysical workers face.Seismic wave in underground medium, affected by strata, lithology, fluid factorssuch as attenuation. Frequency attenuation and velocity attenuation is mainlymanifested in the aspects of energy attenuation. Has a great influence on seismic dataprocessing and interpretation of these phenomena, so the propagation of seismic wavein the need to study, focuses on the study of seismic attribute especially variation ofattenuation attribute.Seismic forward modeling is simplified to geology, geophysical problem specific,a simplified mathematical model and physical model, using numerical calculationmethod or physical simulation method for seismic response of the acquisition process,is the understanding of seismic wave in underground medium propagationcharacteristics and help explain the effective means of observation data. Throughforward modeling of the seismic wave, can analyze the characteristics of seismicwave field, data acquisition and guiding field collection of. But as the seismicexploration is very important, forward modeling is the theoretical basis for theinversion process, can help the seismic interpretation of seismic data efficientlyknowledge workers, and the processing and interpretation of seismic data.Based on the theory of forward modeling of seismic attenuation attributes andearthquake, to verify the theoretical model, the conclusion of the model is accurateand available in the case, analyze the actual seismic area.Through the above research and practical application, this paper obtained thefollowing conclusions: propagation of seismic wave in underground medium, affected by many factors, when the formation oil or gas, the frequency of seismic waveattenuation will occur, which has guiding role for the processing and interpretation ofseismic data. The frequency attenuation attributes is one of the important propertiesaffected by the earthquake, formation thickness, lithology and the fluid properties,pressure and temperature etc, the effective prediction means this property is gradientattenuation of local frequency, such as the main extreme frequency, dominantfrequency, the main frequency, attenuation bandwidth, high frequency energy ratio,the specified energy ratio(effective ratio85%). Through the seismic wave attenuationmedium forward modeling, can obtain the propagation of seismic wave is clear. Theseismic wave attenuation properties is a comprehensive property contains theamplitude and frequency, through the research on seismic attenuation, the organiccombination of the two, get a clear geophysical implications.
