The study area is located in Yingen-Ejinaqi Basin where is a collection of partsof Tarim, Kazakhstan, Siberia and North China plate, and is the Paleoasian Oceanwestern part.Based on the achievements of former research, the study uses the theory ofsedimentology, stratigraphy, isotope chronology stratigraphy, geochemistry and othermethods to analyze the characteristics of outcrops and samples which are serve todetermine the rock types, rock assemblages and sedimentary faces, then divide thesystem of rock formations, meanwhile recycle and repeat the tectonic evolution of thebasin. The study divide the Permian in northern Inner Mongolia Alashan divided intolower Permian Shuangbutang Group and middle Permian Fangshankou GroupAccording to fossils and detrital zircon U-Pb age data, that the Shuangbutang Groupformed in early Permian, Fangshankou Group formed in middle Permian the studyarea. In addition, at the top of the original Xishuangyingshan Group,we foundearly-middle Permian carbonate rocks, according to the lithology of the carbonaterocks, we clump it into Shuangbaotang group temporarily, the conodont instructionsthat Paleoasian Ocean has not yet closed in the late middle Permian. The lower Shuangbaotang Group is divided into non barrier coast faces andshallow water carbonate platform facies, the upper Shuangbaotang Group is dividedinto non barrier coast facies and neritic facies, Fangshankou group is divided intoterrigenous-shore shallow marine volcaniclastic and volcanic facies.Consider as a limitations basin to residual basin stage of the study area inPermian. The tectonic evolution of the study area in early-middle Permian is theshrinking process of the limitations basin to residual basin. Clastic sedimentary basinsrecorded the basin type composition changes while reacting the tectonic movementsof the area. According to the source area analysis, Zhusileng-Hwula is probably a part of theTarim plate. Accompanied by a reduction Paleoasian, each block nearby are close toeach other, resulting in a massive collision split, and the limitations basin of thegradually become residual basin in the study area. Due to the southern Engeerwusuophiolite belt, the presence of residual basin description Paleoasian in Permian hasn’tbeen closed yet.
