As a kind of clean and renewable energy, geothermal resource utilization has been usedfor a long time, but the scientific cognition of geothermal resources and large-scaledevelopment and utilization began from1950s. There are two kinds of geothermal utilizationuse at present, one is used to produce electricity, Italy built the first geothermal power plant in1904. The other way is direct use. We have begun to use of geothermal energy as early as twothousand years ago in China, as one country which rich in geothermal resources, especiallythe low temperature geothermal resources, we have tremendous potential to develop.Geothermal in the study area belongs to non-volcanic clastic rock class layer-like poretype geothermal resources, layered and zonal characteristics. The heat source of theunderground hot water are the granite metamorphosis shell of radioactive elements producedheat and upper mantle.The temperature of Underground hot water is between30and50℃,belongs tolow-medium temperature geothermal resources. Underground water circulation formgeothermal anomaly, abnormal fracture structure was the main cause of formation, inaddition, there are some other factors, such as the basement ups and downs, formationlithology and hydrogeologic conditions and so on. The supply source of hot water isatmospheric precipitation and the recharge area is the low mountains of the north.Geothermal gradient is bounded by greater than3℃/100m, combined with the tectonicunits, select areas of Tuanlin geothermal anomaly area of34.6km2and Xiaotan geothermalanomaly area of140.9km2. It is the level of D+E resource reserves with the method ofgeothermal heat storage. The total available geothermal resources of underground hot water isabout5395.4257x1013J, or17.1066WM heat energy, equivalent to medium geothermal field.The underground hot water of study area metasilicate and achieves the level of mineralwater concentration, and the fluoride of underground hot water has health care value. Becausefluoride exceed the set limit indicators, do not meet the requirements of national drinkingwater standard, cannot be used as a source of drinking water, but after processing up to thestandard can be used for the breeding of aquatic products.The thermal reservoir levels that with the development value of study area areMinghuazhen group and Guantao group, according to the actual needs of the development,geothermal can be used for heating, wash bath, breeding, seedling raising and other purposes,or comprehensive tourism exploitation based on the existing tourism resources, it has broaddevelopment and application prospec. But in the actual process of development and utilizationshould pay attention to the environmental protection measures, such as injection to avoid thegeological problems and environmental pollution brought by development and utilization,and keep sustainable and efficiently utilization of geothermal resources.
