Linxi county is located in the southern section of important mineralization belt in the Greater Hinggan Mountain and its tectonic location is in the eastern of central Asia Orogenic Belt, namely Xingmeng Orogenic Belt. Linxi county is one of the important fluorite ore concentration areas of Chifeng area, which owns favorable metallogenic geological conditions and great potential of mineralization and prospecting, as well as known enrichment of fluorite resources. In recent years, new fluorite mineralization points have been found in Pandaogou of Linxi area which possesses the favorable metallogenic geological conditions and potential metallogenic prospecting. On the basis of the modern mineralization and metallogenic prediction theories, this paper comprehensively analysis the characteristics of the strata, structures, igneous rocks and metallogenic fluids of fluorite by field investigation, measurements and indoor microscopic observations in Pandaogou region. Through the combinations of basic geological studies and physics, chemistry, remote sensing methods, such as VLF-EM measurement, gamma energy spectrum analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis, it is carried out that the metallogenic prediction and predict prospective favorable area of ore-prospecting are respectively developed and selected, which provide a reference for the further research in this area.(1) In the study area, the metallogenic geological characteristics suggest that the serious coverage of quaternary and the relatively simple exposed layer strata mainly composed of the shallow metamorphic green sandstone and slate with the igneous rocks composed of quartz porphyry, rhyolitic porphyry and so on. Both the strata and igneous rocks are the main surrounding rocks of fluorite deposits in this area. The fluorite deposits in the area are obviously controlled by fracture structures, most of the ore fractures are NNE-trend.(2) The research of fluorite fluid inclusions suggested that homogenization temperature of metallogenic fluid inclusions is from130℃to260℃, and mainly concentrated in between190-230℃; the salinity of metallogenic fluids is low, which distributes from0.18%to2% NaCleqv. All above decipher that genesis type of fluorite is medium-low temperature hydrothermal vein filling type.(3) Based on the characteristics of the mineralizing outcrops in fluorite deposit, the mineralizing outcrops belong to the head of ore body combining with the analyzing of the vertical zoning pattern. With the comprehensive applications of VLF-EM, gamma energy spectrum and X-ray fluorescence, semi-hidden and hidden deposit fluorite ore bodies are located and predicted and two anomaly zones that extend as long as1~1.2km are delineated, which show the favorable prospecting potential in the area.
