1,3-propanediol is an important chemical raw materials, and it can be used forcompounding polymer with good qualities. Method of metabolic engineering is animportant way of improving1,3-propanediol production. Understanding cellphysiology and metabolism control mechanism have great help for metabolicengineering.Flux balance analysis is an effective tool for quantitative forecasting intracellularflux distribution at metabolic engineering study. The reasonable objective function isthe premise of prediction accuracy. This paper studies on inferring objective function ofglycerol metabolism. The mathematical form of this problem is a bi-level programmingmodel. The main content and results obtained of thesis are as follows:1. This paper put forward a multi-objective optimization model to calculate theproblem of inferring objective function of glycerol metabolism and solve it. The resultsis close to the experimental data.2. Based on duality theory of linear programming, the bi-level programming modelfor the problem of inferring objective function of glycerol metabolism is converted intoequivalent single-objective nonlinear optimization problem in this paper. The results isclose to the experimental data.3. This paper established a nonlinear mixed integer programming model todescribe the problem of inferring objective function of glycerol metabolism, andcalculate it with the branch and bound. The results is closest to the experimental data.
