The new materials, usually refers to the latest developed or under development, to meet some of the key materials to the development of high-tech industries. Because of its traditional materials do not have superior performance and specific function, become an important material foundation of automobile technology, aerospace, biology, medical, plays a more and more important role in the development of human society. This paper focuses on the three kinds of model materials that widely used: high strength low alloy (High Strength Low Alloy steel, HSLA Steel), piezoelectric material and composite material.In this paper, as the research of a thin narrow strip, with high strength low alloy steel, piezoelectric material and composite material of three kinds of new materials, considering the effect of complex environmental factors of temperature field, the electric field, mechanical loads and other geometric nonlinear cases, based on the von Karman equation and the classical nonlinear plate theory, and combining with the finite difference method, Newmark method, Newton-cotes numerical integral method and iterative method, post-bucking of a HSLA thin narrow strip with initial deflection, the nonlinear dynamic response of a thin narrow strip with piezoelectric layer, thermoviscoelastic dynamic response for a composite material thin narrow strip, thermoviscoelastic dynamic response for a composite material thin narrow strip with damage are researched. Finally, the effect of geometry, mechanical load, electric load, temperature amplitude, injury, viscoelastic and other factors on the nonlinear dynamic response of the structure are discussed respectively.The content of this research will enrich and improve the HSLA materials, piezoelectric materials, intelligent composite materials and multi-field coupling mechanics, as well it provides a certain theoretical basis and the theoretical guidance to thin narrow board of different materials in engineering applications optimized design, safety assessment and testing detection and engineering application value.
