Tectono-metallogenic Study Of Yangshan Gold Deposit In Gansu Province

Yangshan gold mine zone is located in Wen County in the south part of GansuProvince. It belongs to West Qinling mountains region in structure. It is contained inAnchang River-Guanyinba fault zone, which lies to the north of Mianlve-Maqutectonic zone. The folds in the fault zone are relatively developed. The distribution ofore body is strictly controlled by fractured structure. It appears as a series of veinbodies spreading in NWW direction and in nearly even parallel.In this paper, we use the theory of plate tectonics and the modern goldmineralization, and use the methods of structural analysis and structural comparison.We also study the surface structures and drilling core mainline tectonic zonation, andregard finding gold distribution as targets. By analyzing tectonic deformation,observing mineral characteristics, using contrast between construction staging andmetallogenic evolution, we divide the times of Tectono-Metallogenic. Theunderstanding and progress as follows:We divide the times of structure of Yangshan gold mine into: tectonicreplacement period, later tectonic reconstruction period. The later tectonicreconstruction period is divided into six periods.(1) thrust nappe spreading fromnorth to south.(2) extensional tectonics trending nearly NS distribution.(3)Sinistralshear deformation.(4) thrust nappe spreading from south to north.(5) extensionaltectonics trending nearly ns direction.(6)Brittle deformation. We divide themineralization stages of deposit into Sedimentary-metamorphic stage,structure-hydrothermal alteration stage(early mineralization), structure-magmaalteration stage(mid-mineralization), late hydrothermal stage,and supergene oxidationstage. And we establish a correspondence between the times of structure andmineralization periods.
