This paper choose Qinling-Dabie mountain tectonic belt in the northern ofmid-Yangtze, margin of the Xuefeng mountain tectonic belt in the southern andadjacent to the sedimentary basin as the research object, with plate tectonic theory,activity theory and continental dynamics as the guiding ideology, from the perspectiveof structural analysis, the integrated use of structural geology, seismic geology,Sedimentary basin forming dynamics, and basin mountain coupling and so on,through the tectonic interpretation of seismic sections in the study area and the surfacegeological investigation, combining previous research results, analyzing therelationships between three tectonic belt formation, discusses the differences of thetectonic deformation mechanism and the dynamics of their background, tosystematically study the structural belt in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic tectonic evolution,reveal south China, north China plate collision, the evolution process of the dynamicstructural belt in the study area, the basin-coupling process and dynamic mechanism.Based on high precision2-D seismic sections in the Mid-Yangtze region systemof data processing and interpretation, and choose typical seismic sections do balancedsection restoration, the tectonic evolution in the studied area are discussed in thispaper. And obtain the following main results:1. Mid-Yangtze massif is controlled by Jiangnan-Xuefeng mountain tectonic beltand Qinling-Dabie tectonic belt, they have different properties. Mid-Yangtze massifhas experienced multi-mode, multi-cycle tectonic action in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic, itis a triangle closer to the western open and strongly compressed tightly closed area.2. The Mid-Yangtze block intracontinental hedge belt formed is in theQinling-Dabie tectonic belt and Jiangnan-Xuefeng tectonic belt under the action oftwo opposite extrusion. Since the Indosinian period, Mid-Yangtze massif tectonicevolution and tectonic framework in the northern Qinling-Dabie orogenic belt, thesouthern Jiangnan-Xuefeng orogenic belt joint function of restriction, makes theMid-Yangtze massif in forming the composite joint pattern of multiple tectonicsystem. 3. Research suggests that the Mid-Yangtze block joint structure has the mobilityand escape, it is because of the Mid-Yangtze plate and north China plate split is splitin the form of a "scissors" in the Indosinian period, namely the Mid-Yangtze splitnorth eastern border with the north China plate first, and then move to the north westsplit, and from the civil structural system role to the development of Mid-Yangtzemassif in the internal structure to the plate in the form of progressive deformation ofinternal migration.4.The balanced section technique is used to recover the inversion of seismicsection in the study area, combining previous research results, preliminary thinkstructural belt in the study area, the Mesozoic-Cenozoic structural evolution in thebasic can be summarized into three main stages: Indosinian period-early Yanshanperiod, late Yanshan period-early Himalayan period and late Himalayan period.
