The paper taked Matou porphyry Mo-Cu deposit as the research object. By systematically studying the elements enrichment-depletion characteristics in alteration zone and the correlation rule between main ore-forming elements and other elements, the paper sorted elements which can indicate mineralization and mineralized body existence, includingand enriched elements Au, Ag, As, Cu, Hg, Pb, Sb, Cd, Se, Mo, W, Bi, S and depleted elements Ba, Sr, Na2O, MnO. By using element mass balance calculations, the element content was converted to migration to intuitively exhibit the anomaly composed of these elements migration. According to the space distribution of each attribute anomaly, the paper summarized the primary anomaly structure model consists of the negative anomaly of ore-forming geochemical environments indicator elements Ba, Sr, Na2O and the positive anomaly of mineralizer S, metallogenic elements Mo, Cu and associated elements Ag, As, Sb, W. On this basis, the paper studied the elements supergene activity law. And the result showes the enriching and depleting of elements in deposit have clear reflection in surface rock and various size fractions soil. Based on the study result in combination of the landscape condition and media development, the rock(debris) was selected as the main sampling media and the application experiment was carried out in surface. The result shows that multidimensional anomaly systems also exist at the surface and constitute regular anomaly structure model. The surface anomaly structure model has a good inheriting of the primary anomaly structure model. Using this anomaly structure model can more effectively indicate prospecting direction and delineate prospecting targets, mineralization favorable area and mineralized bodies location. This not only confirmed the effectiveness of sampling media suggested by this study, but also illustrated the feasibility of using anomaly structure model to guide prospecting in surface.The results obtained by the above research, not only enriched geochemical prospecting methods, but also provided a reference case of geochemical exploration for the same type ore deposit, and is a beneficial attempt for the exploration geochemistry theory application.
