Along with progress of the social civilization and the science and technologyunceasingly,today green,environmental protection,health has become the main melodyin the world.Seacell fiber as a biodegradable and renewable natural fiber by thepeople more and more attention.This subject uses seacell fiber blended yarn produced by DeZhou HengFengTextile Co., LTD., which is made of50%seacell fiber and50%combed cotton fiber.The fineness of the yarn is28tex. Based on the study and analysis about the propertiesof seacell fiber and blended yarn, it is concluded that seacell fiber has lower singlefiber strength, higher elongation and lower uniform fineness. Its blended yarn havegeneral single-yarn strength, high elongation, good evenness, high moistureregain,low twist irregularity and general hairiness. It can resist hot in wet or dryenvironment, neither resists strong alkalis nor acid.Five kinds of knitting products were developed through experiment. The knittingprocess and knitting key points were expounded. After that, the basic properties of thefabrics were tested. It is showed from the testing result that seacell fiber is suitable fordeveloping knitted fabrics.It is scoured for the seacell fiber knitted. Its scoured process should be: scouringagent2g/L, NaCO33g/L, osmotic agent JFC6g/L, liquor ratio1∶20, temperature85℃, time60min. After scouring, using0.3g/L acetic acid neutralize10min in80℃,then washing and drying. Scouring fabrics whiteness increased, and bursting strengthis down slightly.Hydrogen peroxide is chosen as the bleacher to research the bleaching propertiesof seacell fiber. The orthogonal analytic method was used to analyze the influence ofthe dosage of bleacher, temperature, bleaching time and pH value on fabric whitenessand bursting performance. The optimized bleaching process is hydrogenperoxide(30%)24mL/L, sodium silicate7g/L, penetrating agent JFC3g/L, sodiumcarbonate3g/L, pH value11, liquor ratio1∶20,90℃and80min. The whiteness ofbleached seacell fiber knitted fabric is higher, and fabric damage is smaller. Asatisfactory bleaching effect was achieved.It is researched on dyeing techniques with the reactive dye on seacell knitted fabrics. Analyzed the dosage of sodium carbonate, anhydrous sodium sulphate, thefixing temperature and fixing time with orthogonal analytic method. With seacell fiberknitted fabric dyeing rate and the K/S value as indicators, the optimized dyeingtechniques should be:reactive KD-8B dyes2%(o.w.f), sodium carbonate25%(o.w.f),anhydrous sodium sulphate35%(o.w.f), Peregal-O0.5%(o.w.f), the dyeingtemperature70℃, the dyeing time50min, the fixing time80min, the fixingtemperature60℃, liquor ratio1∶20. Tested the dyeing properties of the dyed fabrics,the results is that the washing color fastness, the cricking color fastness and theperspiration color fastness all meet the demand well.Through the tests on the comfortableness, durability, dimensional stability ofdyeing seacell fiber knitted fabrics, it is showed that the heat preservation, the airpermeability, the wet permeability, the capillary effect, the bursting strength, therigidity-flexibility, pilling property,water shrinkage,steam shrinkage,the drapabilityand the crease recovery of maifan stone fiber knitted fabrics are good. Appraised thewearability of the developed seacell fiber knitted fabric with fuzzy mathematicalintegrated evaluation method. The results show that all the properties of seacell fiberknitted fabrics meet the demands of wearability. Seacell fiber is fit for knittinggarments. The products will have a large market potential, because it fit theconsuming trend of environment and health.
