This dissertation associates with the practice of1700mm hot strip rolling in TangShan Iron and Steel Group, using the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYSto analyze the heat transfer system of strip coil and simulate the temperature field of thecomplex system.According to the basis of heat transfer theory and finite element method, temperature field mathematical analysis models of the hot strip intermediate billet areestablished under two different conditions, and the initial conditions and boundaryconditions of the model are created. Through the temperature field simulation analysis ofintermediate billet in hot coil box, the paper obtains the rule of temperature distributionand change in the whole system, which makes up for the defect of reel internaltemperature that it is difficult to detect, providing academic basis for the quality of stripsteel. By comparing the temperature field distribution, the change of the temperature, thetime history curve, the strip steel inside temperature gradient under different paths of hotrolled slab under two conditions of unused and used of hot coil box, respectively, it findsthat it can effectively reduce the temperature of strip head and tail of intermediate billetin hot coil box and improve the rolling temperature. By comparing temperature fielddistribution, the change of the temperature, the time history curve, the strip steel insidetemperature gradient under different paths of the tape volume in hot coil box under twoworking conditions of the same material with different specifications and differentmaterial the same specifications, it obtains the effect of various factors on the head andtail billet temperature and temperature uniform distribution. The simulation results are consistent with the measured data, which indicates thatthe model is reliable and effective. The results will provide theoretical basis for theoptimal design of the hot coil box, and will have some referential value for practicalproduction.
