The subject takes Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co., Ltd Sijiaying iron orereserves of2.3billion tons for example to carry out the key technology research on theefficient recovery of micro-fine poor hematite.The test using Φ1.5~4.0mm cylindrical medium rod, different dimensions andproportion of the hybrid encryption medium rod, permeability square plate net, rhombicmagnetic medium and rhombic and cylindrical mixed medium and other10kinds ofmagnetic matrices are selected to separate HeBei Mining Group SiJiaYing iron oremagnetic feed ore. It takes experimental research on material, arrangement and spacingof the magnetic medium and achieved a very good beneficiation indexes.The test uses the Slon-100cycles pulsating high gradient magnetic separator,through the regulation of excitation current to change the background field strength of themagnetic separator. Test background field strength changes in the range of300mT to900mT. In sorting machine optimal test conditions the feeding quantity is200g/cycle,the feed concentration is5%, pulsating stroke150beats/min and the background flowrate is300ml/sec.when selecting50%mixed dielectric rod and the field strength of900mT test obtains separating indexes that concentrate recovery rate is73.33%andtailing grade is7.07%; when selecting rhombic mixed medium in the field strength of900mT test achieve separating index-325mesh concentrate recovery rate of57.47%.In view of the different shape and size of the magnetic matrices using ANSYSanalysis can be more intuitive understanding of the magnetic characteristic of themagnetic system and the magnetic matrices and the analysis results coincide with the testresults.This experimental study will further promote China’s hematite magnetic separationmagnetic medium technology innovation and rapid development and will have greatpractical significance on expanding the amount of industrial utilization iron ore resources,guaranteeing the security supply of iron ore resources and promoting the sustainabledevelopment of iron and steel industry.
