| There are some accidents like ’tainted milk’’tainted capsule’ and plasticizersmixed in Chinese liquor. Food safety has become a focus of the whole society. Therelevant government authorities devoted considerable man power and materialresources to supervise and administrate this issue, but new food safety problemsappear frequently. In this context, this article stresses the testing of Clenbuterol andRactopamine, which are illegal feed additive. A rapid, practical, handle easily methodis tried to establish.The detection of clenbuterol and ractopamine using national standard methodincludes:GC-MS,HPLC and ELISA. Those methods spend more time and cost in thetest. However, colloidal gold method based on immunoassays of antigen/antibodycombines the color strips with quantitative reader. The method has the rapid, massand field characteristics. For ’portable’ and ’real samples test’ results, the design learntfrom a lot of previous studies. The blue print which read the color strips based onimage-processing. In the proven experiments of the instrument, GC-MS method wasused to confirm the properties of porcine urine. Then negative porcine urine wasspiked into various concentration solutions. In experiment, clenbuterol and ractopaminestandard substance with concentration from0ppb to10ppb is prepared and tested; theresult reveals that standard solutions of clenbuterol and ractopamine have a goodsecondary fitting character with color degree (R~2is up to0.99and0.98). Besides,through standard solution addition to the negative sample, good recovery results areobtained up to99%.This paper presents trace analysis of clenbuterol and ractopamine with theportable reader. Colloidal gold method makes full use of the feature of strips and theinstrument. It had the obvious advantages for the measurement of actual samples inthe field. |
