The technology of wide lead strip continuous casting is one of the key equipments for new lead-acid battery technology production. Although, in the continuous casting principle, it is similar with the thin slab continuous casting technology, the nature of lead is different from other metal materials.In addition, with the different requirements on the slab thickness and quality, there has been no well solution about "continuous casting technology" until now.According to the project commissioned by Jiangsu Sanhuan Industrial Co. Ltd. entrusted, this thesis is carried out on the "wide lead strip casting technology and Experimental Study".The work mainly finished includes as followed:(1) First, the thesis discusses the topics related to the present domestic and foreign research situation, and establishes the main content of the research and the basic idea of solution on the basis of analysis and research.(2) According to the requirements for the enterprise product design, on the basis of the research status at home and abroad, with continuous casting technology for the scheme design of wide lead, eventually established the twin roll casting technology optimization scheme of wide lead belt.(3) Aiming at the best design plan, has an analysis on the casting area in the process of wide strip twin-roll casting by heat transfer and fluid mechanics, and constructs the coupling mathematical model of3D temperature field and fluid field.(4) The use of the construction of mathematical model for optimization design of "key structure of continuous casting machine" wide lead with double roll forming roll, side sealing plate.(5) Development of preparation of a wide lead with independent intellectual property rights with twin roll continuous casting equipment, numerical simulation parameters given as the foundation, the casting process parameters and reasonable, with a wide lead in twin roll continuous casting experiment, was consistent with the business requirements of the lead strip, and to verify the accuracy of the results of numerical Flow Simulation the.According to SolidWorks Simulation software for the finite element analysis to optimize the wide lead with twin roll caster hot forming process, the forming roller, side seal plate.Main innovation point:(1) Based on the requirements of enterprises, first built the first domestic, twin roll caster structure scheme of wide bandwidth320mm, cast lead with thickness of10mm belt.(2) According to the requirement of twin roll continuous casting technology, through the analysis of twin roll continuous casting machine of heat transfer and fluid mechanics, establishes the mathematical model of coupled heat, laid the theoretical foundation with twin roll continuous casting equipment for wide lead design, production and operation.
