With the improvement of people’s awareness of environmental protection, the product design should not only attach importance to the basic function, security, reliability and maintainability, but also concern about the disassembly and recycling. In the recent years, automotive ownership and scrap average are increasing rapidly and the problems brought by the process of Scrap car are becoming increasingly prominent. Many domestic and foreign regulations and standards have made clear and strict rules of car disassembly and recycling rates, which bring some pressure to the automotive manufacturers. In order to ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises in the market and to promoting sustainable economic development, the research on automotive disassembly and recycling methods and information management system design are imperative.Based on comprehensive analysis of the relevant literature at home and abroad, the present situation of automotive disassembly and recycling and material data system, the article makes research on information management system of automotive disassembly and recycling. Based on three key factors of automotive structure, disassembly and recycling process, which affect disassembly and recycling efficiency, rough set, case-based reasoning and the method of RRR calculation have been used to developing information management system of automotive disassembly and recycling, which integrate computer programming. The related information in the system has been collected from automotive disassembly and recycling experiment. The information management of automotive structure, material, disassembly and recycling process are achieved in this system. At the same time, the data in the system can also be used to the disassembly and recycling design for designers. Above the work, the feasibility of the system is verified by testing and analysing the key functions.
