| Injection screw is one of the key components for the injection molding machine. In this thesis, the injection molding, the injection molding machine and the injection screw were introduced. The summarization of the study about melt temperature, axial temperature difference and mixing performance of injection screw and the application of ANNs on injection molding technology was presented.According to the working status of injection screw, the injection molding cycle includes three phases, which is plasticizing time, dwelling time and injection time.On plasticizing phase, ANNs model was established to predict melt temperature and melt distribution when processing parameters was given. The model had a good prediction ability through testing the model. The relationship between the processing parameters and the melt temperature homogeneity/the melt distribution was analyzed. The injection screw was optimization designed.On dwelling phase, one-dimensional unsteady heat conduction model was established through reasonable simplification. With Finite difference method, solution was carried out for this heat conduction model. The relationship between the dwelling time and the melt temperature homogeneity was analyzed; To predict melt distribution, ANNs model was established when processing parameters was given. The model had a good prediction ability through testing the model.On injection phase, two-dimensional unsteady flow was molding through reasonable simplification. With FLUENT6.0software, the model was simulated and solved. At last, the study was summarized and questions were discussed.The relationship between the injection velocity and the melt temperature homogeneity was analyzed. |
