Most of the gear are made by hobbing machine production, and improve the precision of the gear is involved gear hobbing error measuring compensation, so the gear hobbing error compensation technology is particularly important. This paper is our self-designed CNC gear hobbing machine as the research object expanded. To improve the machining precision of the numerical control gear hobbing machine to do some theoretical experiment research for error compensation theory.This paper discusses about error compensation at home and abroad research achievements and development direction, through the introduction of the NC machine tool error sources eduction CNC gear hobbing machine of the error term and representation method, and the error compensation method is introduced.With multi-body system theory as the foundation, on the NC hobbing machine of multi-body topological structure and low sequence body was described, and then based on numerical control gear hobbing machine processing process, the establishment of a CNC gear hobbing machine space comprehensive error model.Error parameter identification is the key to error compensation, this paper based on laser interferometer twenty two lines, fourteen lines, twelve line, nine lines and the improved nine lines method advantages and disadvantages, obtained the CNC gear hobbing machine each error parameter calculation method.To gear hobbing error parameters identification, this paper introduces the PMAC motion control card and its position compensation function.
