| Currently, the solid state distillation technology still follows the traditional steamer distillation of liquor, and its constructure is extremely simple, but the mechanism is still in exploring. A traditional steamer distillation barrel is similar to a distillation tower of packing material (include of water and wine), and heat transfer is carried out in the fermented grains. The fermented grains are not only material containing ethanol, but also distillation tower fillers. Solid-state fermentation for Fuel Ethanol does not need to consider the preservation of aromatic substances, so increasing the ethanol concentration and yield is a key factor in the process.Taking into account the reduction of pollution and the costs and energy conservation, the solid-state fermentation ethanol distillation has taken a more broad space for development, solid state distillation method has more advantages in terms of environment protection and energy than the liquid distillation. The current solid-state distillation study is less, with the lack of research about the internal mechanism of solid-state distillation process, so we need to further explore in this area.In this thesis, we have analysised the effects of weight loss of fermented grains under the heating rate and other factors by different thermo gravimetric methods, and find that the temperature does not significantly influence the weight loss; this is of guiding significance to the distillation. According to the experimental results, this study also explored the distillation conditions at a temperature of133.3℃, bed height20mm (100g),40mm (200g),60mm (300g) material in the three steam flow rates, respectively,5.0kg/h,6.5kg/h and8.0kg/h, investigated the impact of factors about steam temperature, bed height and flow rate of steam distillation on the thin layer. The experimental results show that the trends over time of ethanol quality distilled is very similar to the drying process of material:the quality of distillate ethanol first slowly increased with time, after a stage of constant quality, and finally decreased slowly until zero. And the constant quality time of the smaller flow is long, conclude that when the flow is small, the flow rate of steam is similar with the diffusion rate of ethanol from material internal to material surface, just to take away the same quality ethanol in the same time. |
