N-alkylglucosamides were synthesized with the main materialD-(+)-Glucono-1,5-lactone and N-alkylamine, which were N-octylglucosamides(NOGA),N-dodecylglucosamides (NDGA), N-cetylglucosamides (NCGA) respectively;N,N’-Dialkyl-N,N’-digluconamide ethylenediamine were prepared with the materialD-(+)-Glucono-1,5-lactone/ethylenediamine and1-bromoalkane, which wereN,N’-Dioctyl-N,N’-digluconamide ethylenediamine/N,N’-Didodecyl-N,N’-diglucon amideethylenediamine/N,N’-Dicetyl-N,N’-digluconamide ethylenediamine; N,N’–Dialkyl-N,N’-glucon-amide propyl-diamine were produced with the material N-alkylamine/D-(+)-Glucono-1,5-lactone and1,3-Dibromopropane, which were N,N’-Dioctyl-N,N’-digluconamide propyldiamine/N,N’-Didodecyl-N,N’-digluconamide propyldiamine/N,N’-Dicetyl-N,N’-digluconamide propyldiamine. The products were characterized byFTIR and1HNMR respectively. The static surface tension was measured by pendant-dropmethod. The particle size distribution was proced by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS).Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) was grafted onto the surfac of polypropylenenon-woven (PPNWF) fabric by O2plasma pretreatment and UV-induced photograftingmethod. Then the synthesized surfactants were immobilized onto the surface of PPNWFby epoxy bond of GMA as the linking agent. The chemical structure and composition ofthe modified surfaces were analyzed by Attenuate Total Reflection-Fourier TransformInfrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS),respectively. It was confirmed that Glucose-based Gemini surfactants had beenimmobilized onto the surface of PPNWF by ATR-FTIR and XPS. The wettability wasinvestigated by water contact angle. And the hemocompatibility of the modifed PPNWFmembranes was evaluated by protein adsorption and platelet adhesion. The PPNWFmodified by Glucose-based Gemini surfactants have good hemocompatiability. And therewas some difference in homocompatiability with different structure of sufactants. ThePPNWF modified by N-alkylglucosamides have preferable hemocompatiability.
