In allusion to the geotechnology of the low-grade rhodochrosite,this paperintroduces a process that ore treated by microwave roasting before grinding.The orewould change its mineral technology characteristics with the help of microwave.This study first proposes the microwave roasting-spiral processing machine gravityseparation process,microwave roasting-shaking table gravity separation process andmicrowave roasting-wet strong magnetic separation process.The results show thatthe index of the process is very well.It’s the green,efficiency of beneficiationprocess with low energy consumption,and no pollution.Microwave roasting tests indicate that rhodochrosite has a good ability ofmicrowave-absorbing,Its heating speedy is very fast.It needs only12mins for thetemperature rising up to1020℃.On the condition of10min roasting time,theweight volume of the ore loses26.1%,Mn(Ⅱ) loses2.4%,the hardness also dropsto2.5.As a result,the grade of Mn concentrate rises up to17.94%.Comparing with green mine ore,grinding contrast tests indicate that the energyconsumption can drop by37.5%,productivity increase by60%,if grinding finenessrequires-0.074mm accounted for90%; The green monomer disintegrate degree isonly46.1%,but the roasting ore is64.75%,if grinding fineness is-0.074mmaccounted for100%.Spiral gravity separation tests indicate that,the level ⅠMn concentrate withMn grade of23.86%and recovery of68.47%,the level ⅡMn concentrate withMn grade of15.97%and recovery of20.42%can be obtained on the condition asfollows: ore amount1.0m~3/h,grinding fineness-0.074mm accounted for80%,pulpdensity30%,flush water0.8m~3/h.Shaking table gravity separation tests indicate that,a Mn concentrate with Mngrade of26.35%and recovery of70.57%can be obtained on the condition as follows:path11mm,strokes330times/min,horizontal angle2°,grinding fineness-0.074mmaccounted for100%,pulp density25%,flush water0.08L/S.Wet strong magnetic separation tests indicate that,a Mn concentrate with Mngrade of30.84%and recovery of72.5%can be obtained on the condition as follows:magnetic field strength1.2T,path24mm,stroke-times250times/min,grindingfineness-0.074mm accounted for80%,pulp density25%,ore amount300g/cycle.The quality analysis of Mn concentrate indicates that,AMn24、AMn26andAMn30,three different levels of Mn concentrate products,due to the microwaveroasting,with Mn/Fe、S/Mn belong the first group,and the P/Mn belongs to thesecond,can be obtained through spiral gravity separation and shaking table gravityseparation respectively; AMn26and AMn30,two different levels of concentrateproducts,with Mn/Fe、S/Mn belong the first group,and the P/Mn belongs to thesecond,in certain condition,can be obtained through Slon-100periodic pulseintensity magnetic separator’s wet high magnetic separation....
