Study On Some Problems Of Sustainable Bamboo Furniture Design In China

Bamboo is a kind of Environment friendly material with characteristics of our nation. Successfully designed sustainable bamboo furniture is an opportunity for us to become a country with stronger design power. However, there are many problems in bamboo furniture design of our country. It is not a real sustainable design.This paper explored the problems of sustainable bamboo furniture design. The whole research process can be simplified to three parts, that is "discovering problems"、"looking for methods" and "find solutions".Discovering Problems:The main task in this part is to analysis and summarizes the characteristics and problems of bamboo furniture sustainable design, in materials, shape, process and cultural.Looking for Methods:The main task in this part is to analysis some sustainable theory and method which has great influence today and summarize the characteristics and functions of these theory and methods.Find Solutions:The main task in this part is to match the problems and methods we found before. So that we find some methods or tools to solve the problems we meet in sustainable bamboo furniture design.This paper pointed the blindness of identification bamboo furniture is a kind of Environment friendly furniture because the material it used. Explore the characteristics and problems of sustainable bamboo furniture design in China. Find the solutions for design bamboo furniture which is sustainable. The research is contribute to promote the sustainability of bamboo furniture design in China, to meet the challenges and achieve the goal of sustainable design with characteristics of China, to promote the pace of strengthen design power of our country.
