The compound roof coal roadway surrounding rock control is always one of the difficulties incoal mining, the surrounding rock deformation and prone to collapse accident, seriously affectthe normal production of mine.This paper uses the combined method of theoretical analysis and field test, summed upthe concept of composite roof is more comprehensive and practical. Failure characteristicsand mechanism were analyzed, results show that the deformation of surrounding rock ofroadway in compound roof, compound roof support with bolt support is difficult to guaranteethe stability of roadway surrounding rock, the anchor bolt support by anchor cablereinforcement measures, using high-cable force and high breaking capacity constraints thecompound roof separation failure.Through the analysis of the composite roof bolting (cable) support and force effectprotected, to determine the combined support parameters,and get the more reasonable (anchorcable) combined support scheme.In view of anchor (cable) combined support form thefeedback and the evaluation method of information roadway stability optimization designidea.Combined with the engineering example of the industrial test, the design of anchor(cable) combined support scheme is applied to engineering practice, and the field monitoringresult analysis, results show that the support scheme is safe and effective.
