Warehouse monitoring system is an important means of the management for modernwarehouse enterprise. In this paper, the tobacco warehouse intelligent monitoring systemplays a very important role in the following aspects such as improving efficiency and benefitsof tobacco warehouse enterprises, enhancing competitiveness in the industry, and enlargingscale of tobacco warehouse enterprise.Development and current situation of Warehouse monitoring system is described in thispaper. The purpose and significance of tobacco warehouse monitoring system aredescribed in detail, thus an intelligent monitoring system is designed for tobacco warehouse.The staff of tobacco warehouse business can control multiple functions of the system on theweb pages by operating, including registration and login functions, video monitoringcapabilities, real-time monitoring function of temperature and humidity, real-time andhistorical curve of temperature and humidity value, automatic regulation function oftemperature and humidity, the prediction function of tobacco mildew situation, and alarmfunction of abnormal conditions. The system adopts embedded system and Web Server, sothat the tobacco warehouse intelligent monitoring system has the advantages of low powerconsumption, stable performance, low cost in this paper.Involving aspects of the tobacco warehouse intelligent monitoring system is very broad.After in-depth analysis of the demand for tobacco warehouse, In these regards, such astobacco mildew forecasting, video surveillance and temperature and humidity monitoring todo the following work: the basic principle of Error back propagation (BP) algorithm isdescribed, the model of the tobacco mildew forecasting is constructed, the neural network istrained by using BP algorithm, tobacco mildew forecasting is simulated and the results areanalyzed by the MATLAB software. To formally analyze the basic demand of the tobaccowarehouse intelligent monitoring system, the performance indexes and main functions of thesystem is designed; hardware and software design schemes are given, in the same time, thevalidity of proposed scheme is verified. Design an integrated control platform based on ARMprocessor and Linux operating system, improve the performance, integration and scalability;according to the hardware platform of the system, the peripheral circuit of the system isdesigned; according to the software design scheme of the system, the software developmentenvironment of embedded system is established, and the application program of the system iscompiled and debugged, the main function of the system is implemented and tested.
