In the modern sheet metal processing, improving the sheet metal stamping processing precisionis the common goal of expectations. However for the big rate of yield strength to elastic modulus oftitanium plates at room temperature, the sheet metal of titanium alloy exists the problems of bigspringback, resulting that high accuracy workpieces can’t been achieved at normal temperature. Sothermal stress sizing is one of very effective methods which are used to improve the precision ofsheet metal forming. This paper explores a kind of new sizing process-laser thermal stress sizing.Taking the accurately forming of CP3Titanium Alloy Sheet as a research object, this paper doesmuch research on the deformation laws of this process through the method of theoretical calculationand numerical simulation combined with experiments. The main work and the main research of thispaper are as follows:(1) Use laser thermal stress sizing research related to the theory of heat transfer theory andthermal stress theory to form the whole process of the theoretical calculation. And it is concludedthat the mathematical model of temperature field in the thermal stress sizing.(2) The multiphysics coupled model of laser thermal stress sizing is developed. Analysis underdifferent craft parameters school form as a result, it is concluded that the main process parameterson CP3titanium alloy laser heating thermal stress sizing the influence law of effect.(3) Hot sizing experiment of CP3titanium alloy by use of laser has been done.,and theresults show that the finite element simulation to get in front of the laser process parameters ontitanium alloy sheet CP3school form rule is correct and can be used for the correspondingcorrection form process to provide reference.(4) Use the result of this law to size the CP3titanium alloy sheet metal parts of a plane forsizing type test verification,the results of laser thermal stress sizing meet the design requirements.The results show that laser thermal stress sizing process method to CP3titanium alloy sheet metalparts of the form is valid.
