Mine ventilation is an important part in the process of metal production,is theimportant measures to realize the safety production and prevent the potential securityproblems. Effective and reasonable ventilation can not only meet the ventilationrequirements of mine production,and plays a crucial role in creating a good workingenvironment and fire suppression.In order to solve the security problem of underground mine ventilation well,monitoring system of the mine ventilation based on WIFI communication technologywas raised, specifically including the following aspects:(1) Determine the feasibility of monitoring system of mine ventilation based onWIFI by comparative analysis of a variety of wireless communication technology,andcombing with the downhole practical application.(2) Make sure the sensors’ application environment by taking analysis of wirelesssensors,network and wireless sensor network,and according to the requirements ofventilation monitoring system.(3) Ventilation environment monitoring of underground. Complete the on-site datecollection by intelligent sensor, and realize the real-time monitoring of dustconcentration,temperature,humidity and airflow on mining face and roadway,throughthe temperature sensor,humidity sensors,dust concentration sensor and intelligent airflow sensor.(4) Data transmission of underground. Read and store the measurement datathrough the WIFI communication technology sent different address to control the smartsensors perform measurements in turn. Take the centralized data processing,alarm andform various statistical reports,curve,or computer document. (5) Fan control. Using single-chip microcomputer to control fan operation. Set thepossible problem in process of fan operation,and makes the corresponding measures forthe different problems,complete the automatic control of fan by MCU.This system optimizes the traditional monitoring system of mine ventilation,usedin underground mine ventilation process,which integrating the WIFI technology,wireless sensor technology, microcontroller technology and computer networktechnology, could record, store, process the ventilation data automatically,comprehensive and real-time. The mine ventilation monitoring which is automatic,intelligent,hierarchical,networked has been realized.
