The rapid forming manufacturing technique(RP&M) has a shorter cycle time anda lower risk to the processing of production and it may bring an improved economicbenefit. So this technique is used in many fields. In the course of rapid forming andmanufacturing, the software plays a key role and the data processing software providesa base for the whole system. The project belonging to this issue is to develop anselective laser sintering forming manufacturing machine for Luoyang Tianrui group inHenan. In order to solve the problem, this issue had a design and development to thedata processing software to meet the needs of the independent research anddevelopment to the rapid prototyping machines on a basis of data processingtechnologies.Based on the file format of STL, the three-dimension reconstruction method withSTL data was studied with a data processing flow for the rapid prototyping in thisthesis. And meanwhie, with the computer application platform Visual C++andOpenGL, a three-dimensional visualization system for STL file format was developedwhich will lay a foundation for the subsequent process as hierarchical processing andlayer scanning-path scheme. In accordance of the characteristics of geometriccontinuity for STL model, the hierarchical processing was researched in-depth, andthen the specific steps and process for this algorithm were introduced. Before enteredin the system of rapid prototyping, the slice data obtained by a hierarchical processingwas infilled. Then, through the recognition to inside and outside of layer’s contour,radius compensation for facula and the scan path planning algorithm, the internalscanning path for layer was generated. Finally, the data processing software for STLfile was developed.During the experiment, the CLI data file output from the data processing softwarewas input into the self-developed rapid prototyping equipment, and then the componet was machined. In accordance of the experimental results, the optimized processingparameters were obtained. The results showed that The results showed that thehierarchical algorithm and the scanning path algorithm proposed in this thesis had astabilize and reliable feature. |
