Bihydrazidate and its ramification are strong chelating ligands, which can form complexeswithmany metals. What’t more, complexes of bihydrazidate often exhibit better functions thanligands. These complexes have prodigious application values, such as magnetism and opticalmaterial, molecule recognize reagent, catalyse reagent, especially in biological activity aspect.Therefore, study of metallacrows of bihydrazidate and its analogues is receiving greatlyattention.In this thesis, metallacrowns are chosen as the object of investigation, we synthesized aseries of bihydrazidate ligands, four new metallacrowns by self-assembly synthesis and Fe3+inthe mixed solution. And its crystal structure are discussed and research. Finally, we haveassayed antibacterial bioactivity of the all compounds.The mainly workly are as following:Two new bihydrazidate compounds have been synthesized. They are N,N’-bissalicyloyl-hexanedioic dihydrazide (H6bshdhz)、N-N-bis(4-methylsalicyloyl)-hexanedioic dihydrazide(H6bmshdhz). Their structures were characterized by Melting point, IR,1H NMR and13C NMR.The two compounds were used to prepare metallacrowns with FeCl3·6H2O and obtainedtwo black crystals. Their structures were characterized by Melting point, IR, UV-Vis and TGanalysis. Their molecular structure were as following:(a)[Fe12(C20H18N4O6)8(C2H5OH)12(DMF)6]·(CH3OH)2·2H2O(b)[Fe6(C14H15N2O5)2(C22H20N4O6)2(H2O)2(DMF)4]·(H2O)16(CH3OH)4The complex (a) crystallizes in triclinic system and space group P-1with a ()=13.814(7),b()=17.027(11), c()=28.689(15), α(°)=84.523(14), β(°)=76.116(8), γ(°)=66.108(7), V(3)=5990(6), Z=1, Dcalc(g/cm3)=1.397, μ(mm-1)=0.792, R1=0.0808, wR2=0.1781, GOF=1.564.The complex (b) crystallizes in triclinic system and space group P-1with a()=16.413(3),b()=16.869(4),c()=17.038(4),α(°)=119.395(4)°,β(°)=109.22(4)°,γ(°)=98.253(4),V(3)=3604.0(13),Z=1,Dcalc=1.168g/cm-3,μ(mm-1)=0.664, R1=0.0561,wR2=0.1656,GOF=1.295.All of the two metallacrowns are18-metallacrown-6core ring system in which the ligandsare coordinate to the anion of Fe(III). And using the mouse palmar paw swelling methodproposed by Kasahara, we have studied anti-inflammatory activity of two compounds of ligandsand complexes. We found that they all have anti-inflammatory activity, and some complexes of anti-inflammatory effects than diflunisal. Synthesis of four new bihydrazidate compoundsligands, and corresponding metallacrows complexes also have been prepared in the roomtemperature conditions. It not only provide new method for the further synthesis ofmetallacrowns, but also provide reference for metallacrown’s structure and properties study.
