| Nitrogen oxides is one of the major pollutants in the atmosphere, contributing a greatthreat to human health and ecological environment. The thermal power plants is one of theimportant sources of nitrogen oxides during coal combustion, the nitrogen oxides emissionreduction of the thermal power plants has become the focus of the next stage of pollutionreduction. SCR flue gas denitrification is in a very wide range of applications, due to itsmature technology and high efficiency of denitrification. The catalyst is the core of the SCRdevice, it directly affects the operating efficiency of the SCR device, and its life determinesthe running cost of the SCR. A reasonable and effective catalyst management is the key toensure the safety and economic operation of SCR.Based on the specific characteristics of the SCR reactor, the model of the reactorperformance calculation was established to calculate the denitrification efficiency, thepotential and ammonia slip. A way to correct the detected activity value by use of the datain the field performance test was proposed because of the limitations of the detectingexperiment for catalyst activity in the lab. The effects of NH3/NOx ratio maldistribution onreactor performance was simulated, in order to provide a reference for SCR optimaloperation.Catalyst replacement strategy of firstly adding alternate layer, without adding alternatelayer and swapping catalyst layers was studied in terms of cost and reliability, through acomprehensive analysis of catalyst management theory and combined with thecharacteristics of the domestic power plant. The result shows that the strategy of withoutadding alternate layer and replacing the useless catalyst with the regenerated catalyst hasthe greatest cost advantage.A catalyst management system based on B/S structure was developed according toactual needs. The system covers the unit basic information management, the reactorperformance calculation and the catalyst management three business level. The systemprovides some basic functions to guide the power plant to carry out a catalyst managementplan. |
