With the development of globalization and the increase of heavy plate production, itis strictly required to the quality of plate. Thin gauge plate, due to less point welding andlight weight, is widely applied in all the fields. However, during the production, theprecision is required and is intened to have wave, camber and steel block happened. Toimprove the presion and quality of profile, big investment of research and equipments iscarried out.This paper is taken technical problem as the topic, foucs4300plate mill andautomation modle, indicating the strategy of8mm thin gauge plate profile control.It is guaranteed for equipment presion via load checking, level measurement; lessenthe influence from wear rollers via research roller shape and optimization of rollingperiod.Then it is fulfilled the stable rolling of thin gauge plate by research heating model,rolling model and cooling model.Meanwhile, by reasonable slab selection and opitimization of rolling (MAS rolling),for the purpose of impove the rolling length and cutting edge quantity, finally improve theproductivity.
