Wetland ecosystem plays an important role in material production supply service,environmental regulation service and cultural service, with its reputation as the "kidney of theearth. In recent years, with the sustained and rapid economic development, human activities onwetland ecosystems produce more adverse influence. Wetland is reducing gradually, which ledto decreased service functions of wetlands. Therefore, the quantitative assessment of wetlandecosystem services function will help deepen people’s understanding of the value of ecosystemservices, raise the public awareness of environmental protection, and develop strategies for thesustainable development of wetlands at the same time.Based on the Nansha fishery wetland area as the research object, Firstly, conducting asystematic collation and analysis of the theoretical basis and methods of ecosystem servicesvaluation at home and abroad. For its own specific characteristics and composition ofecological structure in Nansha fishery wetland, its services are classified: The main function ofwetland ecosystem services in Nansha including supply service, regulating service, culturalservice and support service. And using market value method, cost replacement method, shadowengineering method, results of reference method, revenues and expenses substitution method toaccess the value of supply services, regulating services value such as climate regulation value,water regulation value, pollution purification value, interference adjustment value, habitat value.Cultural services value including entertainment value, education and scientific research value.The results show that: the total service value of wetland ecosystem in Nansha is43.78billion/a, the average value per unit area is14.47×104yuan/hm2; The environmentalregulation services value is29.814billion/a (62.93%); supply services value is10.8billion/a(22.79%); Humanities and social services value is6.763billion/a (14.27%); In accordance withthe size of value，the8services in the following order: climate regulation＞material production＞pollution purification＞water regulation＞entertainment＞interference regulation＞educational research＞habitats; According to the proportion of wetland area in Nansha, theservices value of different types wetlands are valuated, the value of the shallow waters is29.78billion/a(62.85%), the value of unit area is12.22×104yuan/hm2; Followed by aquacultureponds, the value is15.53billion/a (32.78%), the value of the unit area is21.45×104yuan/hm2;Tidal wetland value is2.02billion/a(4.26%), the value of the unit area is19.86×104yuan/hm2;Minimum of mangrove wetland value is435.91×104yuan/a(0.092%), the value of per unit areavalue is6.92×104yuan/hm2; Evaluation results show that the value of wetland services mainlyfrom estuarine waters of Nansha, Delta floodplains, river wetlands. According to the results of the Nansha fishery wetland ecosystem services valuation,making comprehensive consideration of wetland ecosystem structure. The characteristics ofNansha fishery wetland services value was made analysis.And putting forward some suggestions on the Nansha fishery wetland in the future use andmanagement decisions, to provide theoretical basis for government and decision-makingdepartments.
