Energy storage which is the economic lifelines of National safety has veryimportant strategic significance. Due to the excellent features, rock salt is widely usedas underground storage medium of strategic energy in many countries. As a high energyconsumption country, we have seen the importance of energy reserve for strategicpurpose. So we have speed up the construction pace of the rock bank. However, theconstruction of the rock bank is huge system engineering. Domestic salt caverngeological conditions is different from abroad,there are many in dissolvable interlayersin China bedded rock salt mines, and insoluble content is higher. There are manyproblems need to be resolved in the process of high insoluble content of existing saltcavern construction. This article set out from basic experiments. Use the self-developedcavity-making software for numerical simulation. This paper has studied flushing effectwhen inner sleeve embedded in the insoluble impurity in the process of high insolublecontent of existing salt cavern construction and discussed the construction schemeoptimization. It provides strong support for water soluble-made cavity of building ofmulti-interbedded oil and gas bank. The detailed studies are depicted as follows.(1) Analysis of the similarity theory, choice of law method is used to establish thehigh content of insoluble salt cavern construction similar model.(2) Based on the similarity theory, the experiment on flushing effect when innersleeve embedded in the insoluble impurity in the process of high insoluble content ofexisting salt cavern construction. The results show that the more shallow depth of pipeburied and the greater the flow makes more obvious for flushing effect, the size ofinsoluble is larger, the flushing effect is worse. Critical flow form the flushing actionand the depth of piped buried has a good linear relationship.(3) Developed software to simulate the whole process of layered rock salt usingwater-soluble method to build cavity, utilized the results of solution mining withlarge-size modeled layered salt rock of project group to verify practicability with thehelp of software, and get a good formation testing effect. It is proved that this softwarecan be used for the numerical simulation of the rock salt.(4) Aim at the difficult of building cavity in high insoluble content formation, thepaper using simulation software, puts forward relevant measures to optimize the tank.Construction period should adopt the positive cycle. Oil pad and outer pipe should be placed in closely linked. The small space between oil pad and the inner sleeve pipe inthe initial corrosion stage is better to increase the use of salt rock bottom segment.Using rapid-made cavity tools can significantly increase the volume of constructionslots.
