With the improvement of the civilization degree of human society, people,s aesthesticstandard is improving accordingly, wig fibre has gradually become a kind of "headornaments" to beauty-conscious women when they are dressing up. More and more peoplesought after wig products because that they have many advantages, such as changing shape、easy care、varieties style rich、realistic effect and so on. However, wig fiber products crimpformative persistent and stability so worse that our human hair products are difficult to enterinto the high-end product market. At the same time, in the process of curl production, Inorder to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction, we shouldconsider the problem which according to different wig fiber material to adopt different curlproduction process, the complete system aspects of curl setting effect test methods andevaluation indexes in characterization have not been set up. In view of these, the topic startto research from the process of human hair products damp setting, mainly from designingdifferent setting process, homemading curly hair crimp elastic test device, establishing curlsetting effect evaluation index, optimizing the dry and wet and heat setting process scheme,designing curl durability test method to system research.Choosing common human hair, polyester fiber, polyamide fiber materials for wig fibersamples as experimental material,using FTIR-7600Fourier transform infrared spectrometerto test the molecular group and macromolecular conformation of wigs fiber samples, thespecific composition for scientific identification.The TG and DSC curve of three wig fiber samples were tested by using the STA449F3synchronous thermal analyzer, roughly identified the temperature index of three wig fiber,such as glass transition temperature, melting point, decomposition point, the testing resultcan provide reference about setting temperature choice for curl setting process.According to the main impact factors of curl setting effect (samples of dry and wet state,setting temperature, setting time) to design different kinds of damp setting process, Based onthe elastic recovery rate and the remaining strength of the different wig fiber material tochoose the best setting process program.Through the homemade experimental device to test curl setting effect, statistics in aperiod of time the crimp elastic recovery rate of two different stages which applied load andremove of load, draw curves, compare the crimp elastic recovery rate size of different sample state, different setting temperature, different setting time and use crimp elasticrecovery rate as of the main evaluation index of curl setting effect.The strong stretch performance of the wig fiber all process program setting before andafter were tested by using Instron5565universal electronic strength tester, with residualstrength as strong stretch performance index under the condition of different the hair fibersetting process.In order to research curl setting effect persistent, testing different dry and wet wig fibersamples respectively in natural state condition,26℃cold water wash,52℃hot water washwhich the crimp elastic recovery rate changes within one week, It is suggested that using thismethod as the method of curly hair crimp elastic durability evaluation.
