Inorganic nanomaterials have a major prospect in the biomedical field asfluorescent probes. SiO2can suppresse the surface defects nanoparticles and improvethe luminescent properties and then couple biological molecules. In recent yearsZnO/SiO2core-shell structure and QDs/SiO2core-shell structure nanoparticlesfluorescent probes of biological research received increasingly widespread concern. ForZnO/SiO2, QDs/SiO2core-shell structure and the control of core-shell structurenanoparticles were prepared and modulating its photoluminescence has importantscientific significance and practical value.In this paper, based on the above research background for QDs-SiO2core-shellnanostructures and photoluminescence study of this research, we use the liquid-phasesynthesis method and the microemulsion method to study the ontrollable preparationand photoluminescence properties about ZnO nanoparticles, ZnO-SiO2core-shellstructure of nanoparticles and QDs-SiO2core-shell nanoparticles. We study about theliquid phase synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles growth characteristics to achieve the ZnOnanoparticle morphology and luminescence band modulation, meanwhile study toachieve a synthesis of monodisperse ZnO-SiO2core-shell nanoparticles by preparationof SiO2cladding realized under luminous intensity of ZnO doubled in the solution. Weprepared different size and different luminescence properties of ZnO nanoparticles bythe reverse microemulsion method and under SiO2coated ZnO nanoparticles have alsoproved the SiO2coating significantly enhanced luminescence properties of ZnO. Wehave coated the CdSe/ZnS quantum dots with SiO2and studied through the regulationof experimental parameters and then control the morphology of structural ofCdSe/ZnS-SiO2core-shell nanoparticles luminescence properties.Results of these studies will greatly promote the understanding for QDs-SiO2core-shell nanostructures and photoluminescence. More importantly, this research willpromote practical applications of ZnO-SiO2and QDs-SiO2core-shell nanoparticles inthe biomedical field.
