Quantitative analysis methods have some problems at present, such as highrequirements with pretreatment, time-consuming sample analysis and expensive equipments. Some quantitative analysis methods are restricted by thoes factors, so as to not be widelyused in various fields. This study combined the multi-wavelength TLC scanning and obliqueprojection algorithm to form the quantitative analysis method named oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC. It was applied to quantitative analysis of the component under test. The purpose of this paper is to establish a reliable and stable quantitative analysis methodbased on oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC and simultaneously set up this methodfor the procedure analysis of the reaction system. This study includes the following three parts:(1) Establishing the oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC quantitative analysismethod with cationic mixed dye as analysis object. Using multiple wavelength TLC scannerand oblique project algorithm to acquire and analyze data. The spots volume of the cationicyellow X-5GL and cationic yellow X-8GL were in the range of0.5-2.5μg and the linercorrelation coefficient between the spots and the SKS value were0.9996and0.9998.Traditional thin layer chromatography method and oblique projection-nondevelopment TLCmethod were used to measure the mixed dyes respectively, the results showed that theaccuracy of the oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC method was better in the simplesystem quantitative.(2) Using levulinic acid of the waste wood liquefacted product as measured object inthe complex system, Using multiple wavelength TLC scanner and oblique project algorithmto acquire and analyze data The linear correlation coefficient of the content of levulinic acidspots was in the range of2μg~20μg and the SKS value was0.9988Using highperformance liquid chromatography method and the oblique projection-nondevelopmentTLC method for determination, the average relative error of the measured resultsrespectively were3.03%and2.45%, the results showed that this method for complexsystem quantitative analysis with high accuracy.(3) The application of oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC method on monitoringprocess of levulinic acid of waste wood liquefacted product. The high performance liquidchromatography method and the oblique projection-nondevelopment TLC method wereapplied for determination respectively, according to the reaction time and the content oflevulinic acid the content tendency chart of levulinic acid can be got from the obliqueprojection-nondevelopment TLC method and HPLC method. The result showed that thecontent tendency chart of levulinic acid of the oblique projection-nondevelopment TLCmethod was the same as that of HPLC method. So this method can be used in processmonitoring.
