Cement is the basis material of the national economy.Cement industry is closely related to the economic construction.In the future period, the cement will still be the main building materials of human society.Along with the rapid development of infrastructure, the use of land has become increasingly serious. The construction of cement plant in hills areas surrounding the raw material,in order to save and protect cultivated land,has become the trend of The Times. The vertical layout of cement plant builded in hills area put forward higher requirements,and the terraced arrangement according to the production process is an effective means to reduce costs.At present, the vertical design of cement plant with terraced arrangement, mainly rely on rich design experience for qualitative analysis and lack quantitative analysis.The design results are unconvincing and unconvincing to some extent.This paper propose a method of the curve fitting of cross-section,and based on this method to establish optimization model, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, realize the comprehensive optimization of terraced width,terraced height and earthwork quantity through solving the optimization model.This paper mainly conducts the research from the following several aspects:(1)The characteristics of cement production, cement vertical layout and the influence of cement production process for the vertical design are analyzed with the basis of NSP cement production process.By comparing and analysing the forms of cement vertical layout, the scope of the various forms of vertical layout is determined and the influence factors of the vertical layout options are summarized.(2)According to the cement plant process, the partition principle of cement plant’s steps is summarized,the determination method of terraced width and the influence factors of bench height are given. (3)Curve fitting function is established with the method of the curve fitting of cross-section.Through the example analysis, this method is proved to be validity and practicability.It can reflect the cross-sectional nature of the terrain through the curve fitting function, and function the data of cross-sectional elevation.(4)This article established a new optimization model of earthwork,which is appropriate for terraced arrangement.This optimization model can realize the comprehensive optimization of terraced width,terraced height and earthwork quantity. The programming code of software is given in this article. The calculation results of optimization model completely meet the conditions, it has reference significance for practical engineering.
