Benzothiazoles are very important groups of heterocyclic compounds that have manyapplications in pharmaceutical, pesticide, and industrial, etc. Several raw materials have b-een used for the preparation of these heterocycles including o-aminothiophenols, thioamideor thioureaand. However, it’s difficult to obtain the raw material for o-aminothiophenols isnot stable; thioamide and thiourea as raw material preparation of benzothiazole derivativesis rather long synthetic route and higher preparation cost. O-aminothiophenols is easy to beoxidized and then dimerization occurs, the forming disulfides are stable and of no irritantsmell. Thus, it is of great significance to explore a new method for the synthesis ofbenzothiazole derivatives from disulfide as raw material.A new one-step synthetic method of2-substituted benzothiazole derivatives fromaromatic adjacent amino disulfide and aromatic aldehydes at room temperature, wichcatalyzed by FeCl3·6H2O was described in this paper. This dissertation contains work asfollows:1. The raw materials neighboring amino aromatic disulfide compound1a and compound1b were synthesized and characterized.2. A new synthetic method to synthesize2-substituted benzothiazole derivatives fromsubstituted aromatic neighboring amino compound1a and aromatic aldehydes catalyzed byFeCl3·6H2O was built.3. Several2-substituted benzothiazole compounds2a,2b,2c were synthesized by this n-ew synthetic method, and compounds2a,2b,2c were characterized by IR, MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR.4. Compound2d can be synthesized by the reference method, but could not be prepar-ed from not contain the substituent aromatic amino disulfide compound1b and aromaticaldehydes through this new synthetic method establi-shed by our research group.5. Through the determination of the byproduct produced in the reaction solution byLC-MS, the possible reaction mechanism was speculated. |
