Recently, polyphosphazene materials and self-healing smart materials are hot spots ofscientific research. In this work, firstly, a series of linear polyphosphazenes has been preparedsuccessfully via two-step method. The three chemicals furan amine, aniline and phenol havebeen chosen as the side group substituted agents. In the process of the substitution reaction, the performance and the types of side group of the linear polyphosphazenes have beencontrolled by the kinds of the substituent. The proportion of different types of substituenthave been adjusted through a step-by-step substitution method and controlled of the amountof different substituents. The structures of the products were characterized by1H NMR,31PNMR and FTIR. Mwwere characterized by GPC, The contents of the functional groups werecharacterized by the calculation of the integrated area of the characteristic peaks in the31PNMR spectrum.Novel cross-linked polyphosphazenes with remendable capacity have been synthesizedthrough the Diels-Alder reactions. Their structure and properties were characterized by NMR,FTIR, GPC, DSC, TGA SEM and polarizing microscope. The process of Diels-Alder reaction(D-A reaction) and retro-Diels-Alder reaction (retro-D-A reaction) have been investigated byFTIR, UV and DSC. The cross-linked polyphosphazenes exhibited remendable capabilityonly need a thermal treatment when they were cut by blade, any other treatments such asadditional monomer or catalyst, surface treatment or pressure were not needed.
