China’s energy resources are scarce, energy saving has become a remarkable problem,popularization and application of thermal insulation material is the most effective and themost feasible solution. Inorganic thermal insulation material has the characteristics of bulkdensity is smaller, heat preservation effect is better, convenient construction, saving resourcesect. Therefore, the development of inorganic composite insulating material has a realisticsignificance.This paper mainly studies the asbestos fiber dispersion process of the insulation materialand the material’s setting time, bulk density, strength, ignition loss and thermal conductivity.The results show that for the light quality and quick hardening insulation material, firstof all, the dispersant and water mixing evenly, then joins the asbestos fiber to carry on thedisperser again, this is the best dispersion effect; increases the OT dispersant amount used tobe possible to reduce the set time, changes of amount of sodium fluosilicate on the settingtime of impact is very small; different proportion of ordinary Portland cement and highalumina cement and the sodium silicate different amount used to the expanded perilteinsulation material setting time, the bulk density, the compressive strength and the flexuralstrength and so on has the quite obvious influence; the ordinary Portland cement and highalumina cement which carries on according to the different proportion indicated, Bothdifferent proportion has certain influence to the loss on ignition, but thermal conductivity notobvious change tendency. For high strength and quick hardening insulation material, the waterreducing agent has some effect on the setting time of the brucite fiber insulation material, butto the bulk density, the compressive strength, the flexural strength, the bond strength, ignitionloss and thermal conductivity, influences and so on is not obvious.
