Polymers of intrinsic microporosity(PIMs) is a kind of polymers containing interconnected pores whose dimensions are less than2nm. Recently, many PIMs which have been successfully synthesized by researchers have promising potential in gas storage, separation, and heterogeneous catalysis. In this paper, we obtaind a series of PIMs prepared from triptycene and its derivatives. The main contents and results of this work are as follows:1. We prepared a kind of polymer which called triptycene-based MOMP bearing bis(NHC)s-palladium species(NHC-Pd-MOMP). NMR, Elemental analysis, FE-SEM, TEM, X-ray analysis and Nitrogen sorption analysis were used to analyze its structures. It was found that the polymer can be used as recycled heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction in excelllent conversion.2. We prepared a series of star triptycene-based microporous polymers (STPs) from2,6,14-triiodotriptycene and2,6,14-tribromotriptycene. The polymers were characterized by FT-IR, NMR, TGA, XRD, SEM, TEM. Nitrogen sorption analysis, which indicated that there are micropores, mesopores and macropores in the material. They had high BET surface (the highest is up to600.4m2g-1).3. We prepared a class of star triptycene-based porous polyimides(STPs) from2,6,14-triaminotriptycene, which were characterized by FT-IR, NMR, TGA, XRD, SEM, TEM, Nitrogen sorption analysis. These results indicated that there are primary micropore and a spot of meso-and macro-pore in the material. They had high BET surface (the highest is up to461.1m2g-1) and the decomposition temperature is up to600℃...
