| The manufacture technology of ultra clear glass is investigated systematically in this work. The whiteness is improved by following measurements:to select the raw materials with low-content of ferric oxide on the based of clear glass; to reduce the introducing probability of ferric oxide by adjusting the supplying and maxing systems; to select proper fining agents. In addition, the effects on decolourization and photallochromy were studied, subsequently the optimal glass composition was obtained. As for manufracture process, according to the properties of glasses with low-content of ferric oxide, kiln structure was improved to insure good fining effect, by the advanced technology of fixed-value combustion and multi-point temperature control. In the stage of forming and annealing, good handling technology also insures the excellent properties of ultra clear glass products. |
