The Cultural Heritage And Innovative Patterns Design Of The West Lake’ Silk Parasol

This article was mainly around the cultural inheritance of non‐material cultural heritage and the updated pattern design of Hangzhou West Lake’s Silk Parasol. Combing through its historical and cultural connotation, the crisis of the heritage was analyzed and more in‐depth study focus on the mode of production, protection initiatives and the relationship between market demand and cultural heritage was conducted. By means of Inspections, investigations, and other means, the visit, comparative study, design arts, intangible cultural protection research methods was used to explore the new initiatives of updated heritage of West Lake’s Silk Parasol, identified the core content of the cultural heritage, the productive protection method. And starting from the West Lake’s Silk Parasol surface pattern, combined with modern production technology, the West Lake’s Silk Parasol surface updated design has conducted in‐depth research and practice. It was expected to contribute force expectations in West Lake silk’s parasol loaded of Hangzhou people’s feelings of traditional culture heritage, to satisfy the modern people’s pursuit of fashion, but also can inherit the cultural traits and continuous innovation and development of the social culture.
