Automatic Reagent Adding System For Coal Flotation In Wangfenggang Coal

The traditional manual way of adding medicament and the flotation effect mainly depends on flotation’s drivers of production experience and careful management, saw, adjustable, qualitative, not quantitative concept, not timely accurate; in Wangfenggang Coal Preparation Plant flotation production system is direct flotation, the mainly flotation equipments are the new jet flotation machine, due to the plant flotation feeding is intermittent, and feeding concentration is higher, the medicament is difficult to control; in the flotation production, flotation’s driver in order to ensure the flotation tailings is qualified, so medicaments quantity will generally be maintained in the adjustable range of maximum limit, and it leads to the quality of coal can not be ensured, at the same time causes of flotation’s driver kept adjusting reagent addition, so the labor intensity of drivers is greatly increased. The past of flotation automatic dosing system have many questions, such as sensor detection is not accurate, the executing mechanism’s control is not up to the corresponding precision, the controller can not meet the requirements and other reasons make the automatic dosing system application effect is not good.There are many questions in the above artificial feeding and past flotation automatic dosing system, so artificial agent added of flotation plant develop into an automatic adding system in Wangfenggang Coal Preparation Plant. In this paper, the detection unit mainly is an electromagnetic flowmeter and isotopic densitometer,and are accurately detection;the controller is Schneider M340PLC,and has powerful function and high reliability; the actuator is Milton Roy Company LMI electromagnetic diaphragm metering pump,it is high precision, and it can well meet the requirements of precision. The application of flotation automatic dosing control system can be achieved after the controller calculates the real-time tracking of the dried coal slime by flotation feeding pipeline’s isotope densitometer and electromagnetic flowmeter, the collecting agent and frothing agent of pump’s frequency is adjusted according to the dried coal slime quantity, not only it overcomes flotation feeding coal slurry concentration changes, the floating flow changes, the dosage of flotation reagent and so on a variety of interference, and also overcomes the disadvantages that artificial regulation, and enhances coal quality and productivity, and saves flotation medicament consumption, and reduces the flotation cost, but also greatly reduces the labor intensity of operators.
