Pre-mixed abrasive water jet technology is formed in the80’s of last century, it has many advantages compared with pure water jet and mixed abrasive water jet technology, so it is widely applied in engineering. In pre-mixed abrasive water jet technology, the jet mixed by water and abrasive belongs to the research scope of liquid-solid two-phase flow, the study methods of the flow field are theoretical analysis, experiments and numerical simulation, and numerical simulation is the most convenient methods of these three. In this paper, liquid-solid two-phase flow inside and outside the nozzle is analyzed by numerical simulation method in pre-mixed abrasive water jet technology, the main research contents are as follows:First of all, the development process of high-pressure water jet technology, the working principle of pre-mixed abrasive water jet technology and the research status of numerical simulation in pure water jet and abrasive water jet is introduced, which leads to the research content and significance of the paper.Then, the basic knowledge including fluid mechanics and computational fluid mechanics knowledge that is needed in numerical simulation of pre-mixed abrasive water jet is overviewed, which laid the theoretical foundation for the further numerical simulation.Finally, numerical simulation of the liquid-solid two phase flow field of nozzle in pre-mixed abrasive water jet is done by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software Fluent, and optimal result is obtained based on the analysis of different nozzle structure, cylindrical section length, abrasive concentration and abrasive particle size.Aiming at pre-mixed abrasive water jet, Numerical simulations are carried out under non-submerged condition, which compensate for the lack of research in China; three aspects which are the abrasive and water velocity distribution, the pressure distribution inside and outside nozzle and jet aggregation are considered comprehensively, then the results of numerical simulation which are more all-sided and more accurate are obtained. The research enriches the theory of flow knowledge, and also has the certain instruction function to the application in practical engineering.
