Most of natural dyes are Chinese herbs,which have good medical value and benefit health. It is the tendency to develop and use thenatural dyestuff.This article has carried on the discussion to extract the natural dyestuff process by theenzyme. In order to enhance the natural dyestuff’s extraction rate, in the experiment mainlyused the biological enzyme. The basic mechanism of using the enzyme method to extract thenatural dyestuff is that was acted on the surface layer material, and then caused the cell wallsand the intercellular substance structure changed loosen, expansion, collapse and so on. Thusthe area that the effective component was extracted was changed larger, and the transferresistance was reduced, so the rate of extraction was enhanced. The phellodenron, the radixlithospermi, the gingko leaf were selected to extracted the dyestuff. According to thedifferent spot, the sole enzyme, the complex enzyme, and adding complex enzyme step bystep separately to carry on the extraction processing. The single factors were done to disscussthe effect of the different factors on the extract rate of the dyestuff, and the optimizedprocessing was definited, simultaneously the dyeing processes were definited by dying thecotton and the woolen fabric.The experimental result indicated that the extraction ratio by the method of adding theenzyme was significantly higher than that of traditional water extraction.
