The precipitation behavior of00Cr13Ni7Co5Mo4W2maraging stainless steelwas analyzed and studied by using the thermodynamic calculation softwareThermo-Calc; By means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmissionelectron microscopy (TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SADP) and other testmethods, the organizational structure of00Cr13Ni7Co5Mo4W2maraging stainlesssteel was investigated; at the same time, uniform full immersion corrosion tests andpotentiodynamic polarization experiments are used to study the corrosion resistancein artificial seawater of00Cr13Ni7Co5Mo4W2maraging stainless steel.The results of thermodynamic calculations show that the precipitate phasedissolves when solution temperature higher than1050℃. The R phase thatprecipitined in the process of aging is the main strengthen phase in the process ofaging treatment of maraging stainless steel.According to the result of thermodynamiccalculation to determine the solid solution and aging temperature.The results of mechanical properties research studies show:the best heattreatment process of00Cr13Ni7Co5Mo4W2maraging stainless steel is solutiontemperature of1100℃for1h and aging temperature of510℃for12h. Thetensile strength and the yield strength respectively are1550MPa and1430MPa,percentage elongation is9.3percent.The results of the microstructure analysis indicated that the organization of00Cr13Ni7Co5Mo4W maraging stainless steel after solution treatment is uniformand fine lath martensite; the microstructure of maraging stainless steel after agingtreatment is the thin lath martensite.The results of sea water corrosion resistance property studies demonstate thatconsideration in one hand of corrosion resistance property, the best solutiontemperature is1100℃, aging temperature is470℃, aging time is9h.It can beaccording to the specific application of maraging stainless steels to determine the optimal heat treatment process in practical application.So we can Achieve the goal ofoptimizing heat treatment process.
