Glass/ceramic composite coating is prepared with composite powers,which are respectivelymixed by fly ash,Al,SiO2-Al2O3-MgO,albite,Al-TiO2-B2O3and so on. XRD and SEM are usedto characterize the composition and morphology of the ceramic coatings. The ceramic coatings’corrosion, wear resistance, erosion and abrasion resist-ance are also tested.The results show that ordinary fly ash coating is better than that of high aluminum fly ashcoating.Glass/ceramic composite coating is prepared with fly ash,adding Al,SiO2-Al2O3–MgOand albite. Ca2Al2SiO7,FeAl13,Mg3(PO4)2and NiFe2O4are generated within the coatings afterheated. The acid, saltand oil medium corrosion of the composite coating are increased17.8,1.30and1.71times respectively. Abrasive wear relative to the matrix raise6.80~10.25times.Adding10%Al-TiO2-B2O3exothermic system into former coating formulation,and thecoatings contain Na2B4O7,TiB2,NaB15and Al2O3new phases. The acid, saltand oil mediumcorrosion of the composite coating are increased27.4,4.00and1.88times resp-ectively.Abrasive wear relative to the matrix raise8.33~14.83times.Erosion wear and corrosion wear of SiO2-Al2O3-MgO glass/ceramic composite coatingrelative matrix are increased by2.03~2.95times,1.27~1.99times respectively. Erosion wearand corrosion wear of glass/ceramic composite coating with Al-TiO2-B2O3are increased by2.56~3.86times,2.15~2.44times respectively.
