Nanomaterials have been widely used in electroanalysis and electrocatalysis due to their large surface area, small size, high electrical conductivity and high thermal stability. In this paper, N-hexylpyridinium hexafluorophospate based a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) is prepared and then Mg-Al LDH, TiO2nanorod, ZnWO4nanorod were casted on the surface of CILE to get the new nanomaterials modified electrodes, respectively. The modified electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscope, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Electrochemical behaviors of rutin, metol, uric acid on the modified electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronocoulometric method. The results indicated that these modified electrodes showed excellent catalytic ability to electrochemical reaction of the drug molecules. Based on the changes of electrochemical responses such as peak potentials and currents with the scan rates, the electrochemical parameters such as the charge transfer coefficient (a), the electrode reaction standard rate constant (ks)were calculated. Under the selected conditions, the peak current was linearly related to the concentration of drug molecules in a certain range. The influences of coexisting substances were tested and the results indicated that most of them didn’t interfere with the determination. These methods were further applied to the determination of samples with satisfactory results. A poly(phenosafranin) functionalized graphene (GR) composite film was co-electrodeposited on CILE surface by cyclic voltammetry to get a modified electrodes noted as PPS/GR/CILE, which was further characterized by using scanning electron microscope, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The electrochemical behaviors of quercetin on PPS/GR/CILE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronocoulometric method. The results indicated that the PPS/GR/CILE showed excellent catalytic ability to the electrochemistry of quercetin. Some electrochemical parameters were calculated and the method was further applied to the determination of drug samples with satisfactory results.
