With the rapid development of dye textile industry, variety and quantity of dye isincreasing. The dye has some features which are deep color water, organic variety, difficultbiological treatment and so on. Because of its simple of Iron-carbon micro-electrolysistechnology and easy operation can may achieve the goal of “by Waste ",which is paidattention widely in recent years. However, many studies have shown that this method hasmany flaws in the application, such as: iron is easily compacted and sediments will cover onthe surface of iron and carbon and so on.In this paper, in view of shortcomings of iron and carbon micro-electrolysis system, thecarbon micro electrolytic system was improved for the treatment of Reactive Brilliant BlueKN-R as simulative research object.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1、The Reactive Brilliant Blue KN-R of100mg/L can be decolored rapidly, and CODdecreases obviously in the iron micro-electrolysis system of iron loaded with copper afteradding oxalic acid. It has improved the disadvantages of wastewater treatment for a longtime、low removal efficiency of COD and so on.The result shows that:after shock, thedecolorazation rate and COD removing rate of Reactive Brilliant Blue KN-R of100mg/L canreach97.2%and88.3%in the condition of pH3.28, dosage of oxalic acid50mg/L, dosage ofcatalyst10g/L. The decolorazation rate and COD removing rate of Reactive Brilliant BlueKN-R of100mg/L can be above60%after the catalyst being used for four reaction cycles.2、Ultrasound was applied in the iron and carbon micro-electrolysis system to form anew system-Ultrasonic-carbon micro electrolysis system. With its high concentration of thedegradation of reactive brilliant blue KN-R dye wastewater. It is to degrade the highlyconcentrated activeness colorful blue KN-R dye waste water with it. The experimental resultindicated that: surpasses the ultrasonic wave method or the hard coal micro electrolyticprocess with the processing effect processes the effect alone. Unites for the treatment wasmore effective than the ultrasonic or carbon micro electrolysis treatment effect alone. The suittable reaction conditions: ultrasonic frequency is40Hz, the amount of iron and activatedcarbon were3g/L respectively, reaction time is20min,500mg/L reactive brilliant blueKN-R in the removal and COD removal rates is up to87.9%and84.9%respectively.
