Fire disaster is a threat to public safety, it’s one f the major disasters which harm peoplelife and property safety. Our country is medium-term industrialization development, the levelof urbanization has entered a stage of rapid development, fire loss also rose sharply, doublethe average12years. To reduce fire hazards, we must take early detection and put out the fire,even when is about to happen but has not yet occurred early actively take measures to preventit happen. The automatic fire detection especially predicted in advance is the key to preventfire. As the city buildings’, factories’ structure and function is more and more complex, theexisting fire detection technology cannot meet the needs of the new fire detection. So the firemonitoring technical level is an urgent need to research and development to meet the needs ofmodern urban and industrial and mining enterprises. This to safeguard people’s life andproperty security, to build a harmonious society is of great social significance and economicbenefits.Main idea of this topic is for real-time monitoring of harmful gases and temperature, andthen make the appropriate response to signal processing action to prevent the happening of thefire. The whole system by the Handheld Communicator, transmitter, smart sensorcomponents. Because the system is made up of many parts, so the communication way tobecome a top priority. System adopts the intelligent temperature sensor to collect thecorresponding gas, information, through the custom communication protocol to itscorresponding transmitter, transmitter to determine signal accordingly. To effectivelycommunicate with PC through the Modbus, also can use hand operator for the transmittersignal acquisition, feature set. Handheld Communicator adopts the Modbus combined withinfrared communication way to communicate.In terms of specific hardware, we consider the system needs to run and for a long time ininflammable and explosive environment. So we use the ST companies’ STM32L seriesmicrocontroller. we design the power supply circuit, touch keys, LCD, flash circuit, sensorprocessing circuit and other circuit. The last run the entire system, all the work of the wholesystem is realized.
