The efficient and reasonable use of coal, which is an important energy material, has been paid much attention to by domestic and international experts. In this study, effetc of multi-stage extraction on pore properties of coal was researched through multi-stage extraction, while effetc of multi-stage extraction on fusibility of coal ash was analyzed by the ash melting point tester and GC-MS.The results showed that:(1) GC-MS analysis displayed that,in the extracts of CS2and acetone, the kinds of aliphatic hydrocarbons are relatively large while content is low. But in extracts of Pyridine and NMP, the kind and content of aromatics are higher, particularly in NMP, the content of1,7-diethyl naphthalene reaches5.39%,however,in the extracts of CS2, acetone, pyridine, NMP, undetetced substance contains more than30%.(2) The results of mercury injetcion experiment showed that, after extraction, pore characteristics of the coal is changed, due to the permeation of solvent, taking away small molecules in the coal. There were numerous micropores and orifices converting into macropores. The total specific surface area of micropores in the raw coal reduced to12.6%,while the total specific surface area of orifices reduced to26.16%,but the total surface of macropores in coal has increased to2278%, enhancing the adsorption properties of the coal.(3) Raw coal and extraction residue were analyzed by XRD pattern and showed that after Multi-stage extraction, the coal ash fusion temperature gradually declined.Experimental study in the paper reveals that multi-stage extraction has an effect on pore characteristics of Inner Mongolia coal and can provide a reference for comprehensive and efficient utilization of the Inner Mongolia coal.
